Pool Technicians
Mayfair Pools & Supplies is looking for both Senior Pool Technicians and Junior Technicians seeking to expand their skill set.
Position overviews:
The senior service technician is responsible for completing service repairs for residential customers, including but not limited to:
- Diagnosis and repair of pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, sonic leak detection and plumbing.
- A valid drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract.
The junior technician should be proficient in:
- Pool opening/ closing, minor repairs to equipment including, but not limited to, motor replacement, pump installation, shaft seals, filter repair, liner patching and must possess a willingness to learn. Knowledge of water chemistry would be considered an asset.
- A valid drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract.
Successful candidates should be detail oriented, have the ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. The ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese would also be an asset but not required.
Compensation:
Mayfair’s reputation as an industry leader for over 40 years is unparalleled within the pool industry. As such, we are only interested in the “best” and we’re willing to pay for it. General Labourers
Mayfair Pools & Supplies has been an industry leader for over 40 years and we are currently looking for young and strong individuals for general labour positions for the 2017 pool season.
Successful candidates must be:
- Reliable
- Hardworking and honest
- Be able to lift 50-100lbs (ex. pushing wheelbarrows of stone and concrete )
- Have their own transportation to our site
- Love working outdoors
- CSA approved work boots
- Manual labour experience an asset
- Pool/ technical experience not required but would be considered an asset
- DZ license would be considered an asset
- Fully fluent in English
- Available to start immediately
- Students welcome
Hours:
Up to 6 days a week Monday to Saturday
Salary:
$15.00 + hourly based on experience
